Numerous international agreements on plastics and plastic pollution have been created to address and reduce the impact of these materials on global economies, societies, and natural environments. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused a sudden shift to the world’s priorities, placing a higher value on health thus neglecting environmental care and protection.
As it is crucial to rethink our environmental attitudes towards plastic usage, the P4P project has been developed as a transnational collaborative effort to promote sustainable behavior starting with the educational system. By providing innovative educational resources to teachers, the P4P project wishes to shape attitudes and achieve positive change towards environmental protection.

The Project Aim

P4P aims to provide primary school teachers with the appropriate tools and resources to raise awareness and address the environmental issue of Plastic Pollution with their students through Game-Based Learning, Gamification, and Hands-On Learning. To achieve this, the following objectives have been set:

  • To develop three educational resources on the topic of environmental sustainability, focusing on the threat posed by single-use plastics to our planet.

  • Raise awareness among education professionals and young students about the threat our planet faces, if we do not take action to protect it
